To me, The news came to me like a bang on my ears, hearing that Ghanaian Poet Kofi Awoonor, One of The African's Most Famous and distinguished Literary Figure, was among the scores of people killed by Al Qaede aligned terrorists, who attacked a busy shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya over last Weekend on the 22nd of September, 2013. Professor Awoonor who died at Age 78, while His Son was among the Nearly 200 injured in the attack.
