Welcome back, if you are already Subscribed to my blog lets go, if not
yet, do that now, it takes just 3 minutes. I previously posted an
article that will aid you to recover your hacked Facebook account.
Though its never an easy click process, but it works perfectly if only
you follow instruction.
Today, i will be sharing to you my own method of prevention, pay heed
to every single word here.

It will be disheartned to hear you saying that your account was
compromise or hacked, after reading the below methods. First of all,
what you should know is that 95% hacking activity springs out of
jealousy either because you are doing just fine with your carrier or
your company keeps bubbling, appropriate steps must be put in place to
avert hacking.
1. Stop the usage of one email address for multiple purposes:
why will you be having your eggs in one basket? Some will get spoilt
easily, use different email for your facebook alone for easy tracking
of notification.
2. For Gmail Users, make sure that you have activated 2- Factor
Authentication. This factor controls who and who try to login into
your gmail account, remeber, a secured mail is a secured account.

3. Removal of email or contact mail from your profile everything can
be fetch from the ' About' of your profile, don't know this? Login to
facebook>> Click on top right hand just after the padlock icon, scrol
to 'Settings' click 'Privacy' then, look for the second Option - '
Email' set to 'Only me', 'Address' set to friends.

4. Ability to dictate social engineering language:
What is social engineering?- it is the art of manipulating people,
friends into responding to pop ups especially, related to facebook
security such as- giving away your Personal details to the so called
Guru that claims to set up a mobile Cash stream for you. Rather than
breaking into computer networks, they apply pschological tricks on
friends and human beings - They pretend to love you and help you fix
one bug or the other in return, gain access to your account.
To Prevent this Social engineering languages, when such comes your mail box,
Example: " Facebook will like you to provide your Username, password
for account updating"
if you are confuse, please verify from your internet mentor or get to
me via Contact me button, i will gladily help.

5. Select or set audience to Your post:
i mean that you have to select people that can read your post at the
moment. How?
Login to Facebook, at your top right hand side after a padlock icon,
click and select " Settings" >>> Privacy>> " Who can see my post" set
it to " only me" or Friends.
Look for another option that says
" Do You want other Search Engines To Link to your Timeline?"- set to
" No" by so doing, your profile can't be track on search engines
anymore.

6. Beefing up your Facebook security plays a greater role to your
account. To perform that, follow step 5 procedure above and head onto
your Security. You will find the following
* Text message login notification - Enable
* Login Approval - On
* Login Approval Codes - checks and send login codes to your
verified phone number, when inputed correctly, you gain access to your
account.
* Trusted Contacts - Please ignore
* Recognized Devices - this also enables you save your current
browser or device used to access facebook, when you see more than
that, check box and remove.
In addition, always change to a strong password on weekly basis.
You can equally login and save a second device you might have
permitted just by checking box and you save.

7. Backing up your Facebook Data:
yes its possible to backup and download, take it now

Privacy, then scroll downwards to " Download a copy of my Facebook
Data" yet am still not getting it Marx!

  7. Nice one Marx. Especially number 7. Didn't know one could backup with mobile. Will give that a trial. I think number 4 also cuts across philsing sites and there's this tempting post, "write your facebook password and it will be asteriked (hidden)". People fall for thaw two mostly.
