about setting up Tecno T8 internet access.
I also, observed that it was very difficult for them to browse with
Glo Network on same device.

1. WEB BROWSER CONFIGURATION

Your web browser or wap enables you quickly open sites either through
Google Search or directly.

A. From Your Menu Screen, swipe on Settings<=== Connection===>Data Account
Select the network you prefer to browse with

Example: Glo Network
then below it, tap ' Option' and scroll to ' Edit'

B. Under edit, you will see the default settings partaining to your
selected Network,

Example:
Network Name : Glo Nigeria

Homepage:
Username: wap
Password: wap
Sim Selection: Sim 1
Authetication Type : Normal
Advance Settings

I have succeded in listing out its Option above, change homepage to
your desired site url as I did above.

C. After that, tap on ' Advance Settings' then set ' Connection
Type' from HTTP to WAP
and select 'NO' from the Option that says:

" Use Proxy"
save changes and head on to the next step.


D. After C, go back to Menu screen, swipe to Services<===Wap===>Settings
scroll down a bit and tap on 'Select Profile' then choose the network
you edited Earlier on and finally tap ok to activate your web browser
settings.


TIPS : When step D is skipped, then you can't connect your web browser.

E. Finally, Locate your web browser and enter a site Url to launch
out your Settings.



2. INTERNET BROWSER CONFIGURATION

When I said Internet browser, I meant that browser that enables you
enter sites without bypassing any other IP. Moreso, in your internet
browser such as
Operamini, Ucweb, Nimbuzz, Messenger like 2go, Facebook, Badoo,
Whatsapp and so on,
It loads faster than default web browser.
On the mentioned device,( Tecno T8) you need make a little change
before its internet browsers can be explored.

How Can I go about the Change now?


A. From Screen Menu, Goto Settings<===Connection===>Data Account
select the same network you are using to browse, Leave it the way you
see them and head onto " Advance Settings"

B. Now scroll to where you see

" Use Proxy"
change it to ' YES'
and get ready to Add its compatible Proxies just like mine

Example:

IP: 010.199.092.002
Port: 8080

make you tap Done and save your changes to perfect your configuration.



C. Finally, go back to Screen Menu, locate ' Java' then select your
desired Browser

Example: Ucweb, Operamini or Facebook Messenger

and Launch out.

By now you should feel the speed on Glo Network.

NOTE: MTN might be easier but its a slight difference which I just
treated now.

If you haven't recieve anything, Just text Settings send to 3888 on a Text message, shortly you will recieve a Configuration into your phone.

2. Manually, you can as well add your preffered configuration just like I did. To perfect this, Goto Settings||Settings|| Connection==> click on Packet data and set it to ' When Needed' then come down abit to add your Network Access point

Example: MTN => web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
ETISALAT => etisalat
GLO => glogwap or glosecure

3. After that, Goto 'Destination' | click 'Internet' click Option and see
Default Settings, to add yours just select Option, click 'New Access Point'
change ' Automatic Check for available Access point' to YES, Then enter your own new Settings, then press Option and goto Advance Settings and enter your prefferable proxies

Example:
Proxy Address: 10.199.212.8
Proxy Port: 8080

3. Finally, to Activate your newly created settings to work with your web browser, press and hold 0(zero) button of your phone, when it loads cancel, goto Option||Settings|| General, then click on ' Access point' scroll down gentely and select your newly created Settings, click 'Homepage' to add your preffered Homepage
After the above steps, you can now surf the internet with ease on your Nokia 6720c.

it ask you whether to 'use Default Settings' or ' Use Existing Settings'

Select 'Use Existing Settings' and fill the option just like the below:

* Connection Name ==> MTN_JAKA
* Data Bearer ==> Packet Data
* Access Point Name ==> http://web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
* Username/Password ==> web
* Prompt Password => No
* Authentication ==> Normal
* Homepage => http://www.mtnonlinepulse.com

After taking care of that, press Option and Proceed to ' ADVANCE SETTING' Scroll down a bit enter

* Proxy Server Address : 10.199.212.2

* Proxy Port number : 8080 or 80 (as the case may be.)
then back and exit 'Access Point'

APN : etisalat
Proxy: 10.71.170.5
Port : 8080
Username/ Password : wap
MMSC : http://mobile.etisalat.com.ng
Authentication Type : PAP
APN TYPE : default support(if you are using default settings, if not define yours)

4. Visit your Web browser, to do that, screentouch and move upwards to locate web browser, click on it and a page will load showing you an error in loading page, ignore it and click the second button like this00
