HOW TO EDIT AN EXISTING PROV FILE USING CLASS EDITOR

From experience, this is an easiest way of creating a strong prov within some minutes.

WHAT IS A PROV?

A provisional file simply is an additional configuration settings added to your Java phone, in order to boost up a faster internet connection.
Below, I am going to show you steps to do it with an application called CLASS EDITOR.

STEPS TO EDIT A PROV WITH CLASS EDITOR


1. Let us take it that we are editing a prov file with
Internet Protocol (IP)===>
082.145.211.001--to-- 082.145.210.001, Download The applicationCLASS EDITOR
The application is on a .zip extention, which means you are required to unzip it.you are still unable to unzip it? ClickHERE

2. Locate and Open the prov file with your class editor, then use the keys==> 2, 4. 6, 8 to navigate withen the prov file that is, up, left, right, and down respectively.

3. Scroll down using key "8" to where the old IP that is, 082.145.211.001, press key "5" and select "Delete byte, then 'OK' the figure '1' you wili see in the box.

4. Use key "6" to move right to the next digit, that is in an IP with 082.

5. At the first digit,repeat the procedure again until you must have delected the first three(3) digits.

6. After that, press key "5" and select "ADD TEXT" input the first three digit of your new IP you want to use that is, "082" press the left soft key and select "OK" in the option.

7. Then use key "6" to move to the next three(3) digits and kindly repeat the same procedure until you have finish editing the four three(3) digit IP, then press the left soft key and select "SAVE".

HINTS:-
You can as well follow the same steps if you wish to change the
1. Access point Name(APN)
2. Network Homepage =example:- web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net.

Once it is configured perfectly, then you can enjoy its features without restrictions.


IMPORTANT TIPS CUM GUIDE ABOUT XPERIA 10 SMARTPHONES

1.
Know how you set up your security or pin code because when forgotten, it may lead to another thing.
Incase you forget your keypad lock code just screentouch
234568 and immediately click on 'Forget Password', After that, choose the type of security question that you used when setting up the lock code, and then select a new security question by pressing 'YES' after that, create a new code and you are done.

2. Mind how you screentouch it, that is do not do it at all times to avoid malfunctioning that may lead to hanging.

3.
Screentouch one after the other also to avoid hanging.

4.
Handle with care in order not to break your screen. It 's to avoid the screentouch functions.

5.
Make use of your screentouch stick to rest your fingers.

6.
Don't screentouch with a wet hands to avoid screen damages.

*** LETS TAKE ETISALAT NETWORK AS A CASE STUDY***

1) From Menu ==>Settings==> Wireless Networks===> Mobile Networks
You will see the below:=

Data Roaming
Data Traffic
Network Mode
Access point Names
Network Operators

just click on 'Access point Name'

2. Select 'ETISALAT WAP' (incase its not present click 'new Access point name' to add it manually)

3. After that, fill the other space with the below details

Name: Etisalat Wap
APN : etisalat
Proxy: 10.71.170.5
Port : 8080
Username/ Password : wap
MMSC : http://mobile.etisalat.com.ng
Authentication Type : PAP
APN TYPE : default support(if you are using default settings, if not define yours)

4. Visit your Web browser, to do that, screentouch and move upwards to locate web browser, click on it and a page will load showing you an error in loading page, ignore it and click the second button like this00

Leave others and goto
Web Settings:-
edit a particular website you wanna visit and load launch out successfuly.

NOTE:- Any time you wanna visit your preffered site, touch the Address bar at the top and click 'GO' To Save to bookmark, click the * (star) sign behind the address bar.

PROCEDURES TO TAKING A SCREENSHOTS ON YOUR JAVA PHONES



1. After downloading the application above, open and launch the Opera.

2. Then goto Menu, scroll to Tools, and hit settings, after that hit 'General' then scroll down to where you will see

" Path For saving Screenshots

3. Just below it click the box and select the folder you want be saving your screenshots.

Examples:-
If you want to save it on
C:/(phone memory) or
E:/ (Your Memory card

lets say you created a new folder on you C:/
Name it JAKA, then it wil be like this

C:/predefgallery/JAKA/
E:/predefgallery/JAKA

4. After that, by your left, click 'SAVE'

5. As directed below

Click Menu==> Tools==>Settings==>Navigation, scroll down gentily to where you will see

"SHORTCUTS"

6. Click the edit box below it, you will see a list of them from
1 to 75, just select 44. Click on it and create your own shortcut used when screenshoting. As for me, I use *(star)
